SIR- Adding to the surgeries paperchase I  recently arrived at the scheduled time of 1000 for a fake physio appointment.  

I waited for half an hour before being told there were ongoing problems. In that time just half a dozen patients turned up for GP appointments. 

For years, the surgery combined the Albert Hall and Piccadilly Circus more but the 0830 scrum (Amanda Mala, 7 May) and hanging on the line (Lauri Butcher, 11 May) continues. In my surgery, GPs work a maximum of two days and instead of a face to face session, you are telephoned. I have sent numerous unanswered letters.
